NEMATODES

taxonomy, morphology and phylogeny

Welcome to NEMATODES

Welcome to Nematodes UGent.

The Nematology Research Unit focuses on taxonomy, phylogeny, morphology, and biology of nematodes from natural and agricultural ecosystems, including free-living, plant-parasitic, virus-vector, facultatively parasitic, and entomopathogenic nematodes. See www.nematology.UGent.be

Our main objective is to provide a more comprehensive description of nematode biodiversity, based on a combined acquisition of morphological, molecular, ecological and biological data.

Here we provide an online repository for morphological vouchers (virtual microscopy, see VCE microscopy http://faculty.ucr.edu/~pdeley/vce.html), supplementary data associated with published papers, original unpublished data, relevant literature, species lists, etc..
